Ok, I am not buying it cause I am broke, but I am curious about a price.

a 2003 Evinrude 25 HP short shaft, guaranteed less than 20 hours on it, Electric start & tiller steer. The guy wants $1900.00 for it.

If anyone knows about these things, would you say it is a fair price or not?

What would be a fair price for one?

My grandpa and a buddy of mine are both on the lookout for a good 25 horse motor. I found one for sale but I dont know enough about evinrude.

If anyone can help that would be great.

    Coshocton,

I'll give you a link. If it does not go correctly it is NADA.com

I had to look at a Johnson because Evinrude started @ 90 hp but they are the same.

I looked up an electric start because there are several models. It showed average retail @ $1700.00

This is an above avg motor (I guess) It is no steal, but if it works for you and you know the guy....

    HTH,

    Shawn

I believe it is a 2 stroke, Don.
