My buddy and I caught and cleaned about 22 bluegill yesterday. Tough to fillet and get anything for meat.

I've seen this thing on the internet called the Panhandler made especially for fileting panfish. It has a double-edged fillet knife and some sort of clam shell holder for the fish.

You can see a picture at http://www.global-source-mkt.com/bg-panhandler1.htm

Has anyone bought one and used it ??
    Good, bad ? Faster ? Better ?

You won't get much meat fileting small fish, no matter the species. If bream are under about 8" long, just scale, gut, dehead and cook whole. That meat around the bones is the sweetest of all.
