Just wanted to know if the cumberland plant has been reopened to fishing yet? I would like to head back down tomorrow, but don't want to waste the gas if it is closed again.

I saw that yesterday too. why do they close it? I hope its not for good I know they close a lot of places due to trash and people not cleaning up after themselves.

Its opened back up. I know its a little late in the day, but it was a spill on the other side of the wall. They have colleciton ropes on that side.

Saturday early I noticed tva employees walking around down their, even had a guy in a small canoe. You could see the oil coming up in small pools. As in closing the place due to trash, it has been that way for numerious years.

It is a shame that people trash a place like that. I was with Brad and Steve and we caught 660 skippies in 6 hrs there on Friday. Now that was a blast:big_smile: I have never seen such crazy action in my life! It was worth the 9hr drive however vacuum sealing those 660 fish all at the same time was not so fun!!:sad2:

Bank fishing only (inside the outlet). You don't need a boat the get skips there anyway.
