I Just put some Ironsilk on one of my dad's spinning rods. Got it in 17lb test solar green. Now I use alot of Hi Vis line but this one was different Just not as bright I think this line has something special about it.

Just wanted to see what you guys think.

Like Walt said. It failed miserabely with a test DH and I did. I was a big fan of it. Ties real smooth knots.

I had some on my baitcasting reel and it kept backlashing somthin fierce everytime i tried to cast. my opinion is if you really want to fish with ironsilk bring a bottle of tylenol. not impressed

Ironsilk works good for a while , then it becomes brittle.

I had the same experience. I really liked it at first then it would break off too easy. I would have line breakage tossing a 3 oz no roll and that's after line inspection with no ricks or scrapes.
