Iraqi Fish Fry

    Here are some good pics of an Iraqi fish fry. These guys are cooking a carp. They cut it from the top down and then stake it to the ground. A fire is then started using oak pallet scrap. They cook it for an hour.

    It tasted like treated lumber. Hey, it is a cultural thing......I think! The rumor is that the carp was taken out of the water palace's pond where Uday and Kuzay used to put their victims in a wood chipper to feed the carp!

    Those folks can keep their carp. I'd rather live off MRE's, or roasted camel hump!!! :sick-big:

    never seen a carp or any fish actualy cleaned like that,

    The way the pics look the fish are huge at first.Then the other pics show the way they cut them,strange looking:)
