    Does anybody fish these tournys?
Me and My partner just placed 4th at our first tourney ever, at
    Mozingo lake in Maryville Mo.
caught our 6 fish limit for a total of 48.3 pounds of channel cat.
    big one was 11 lbs.
There were also two 14 lb fish caught in this tourny, very nice
channel cat wish we caught one of them:wink:

I've only bass fished there, and had the assumption that Mozingo would produce channels. Glad to hear that it's got some fish in it, some of these lakes get fished pretty hard by harvesters. Does it have auto-feeders on it?

I fished one of the tournys with these people and will never do it again! The one who hosted the thing was as rude as it gets and 90% of the fish weighed in were dead. I guess thats why they have bad turn outs. Seemed to me half of them had sixth grader mentality.

there are no auto feeders on the lake. the conservation department
does regular stockings of Bass, channels, crappie, and walleye.
plenty of shad and bluegill for them to eat.

My experience with that tourney was just the opposite of yours
they all seemed pretty nice, but i will keep the dead fish thing in
mind, i definetly do not want to participate in an event that has
alot of dead fish at the weigh ins. I dont think this tourney had any
    dead fish.
