    Man that's close. But the World Record is 5.3 pounds. I have caught two fish that tipped the 4+ pound in Indiana. I know the World Record is here, just gotta get it to bite.

    I thought a 6 pounder was caught here in Louisiana.....are you talking about a black or white crappie......sacalait.:roll_eyes:

    It's A Black Crappie. The Current All-tackle Record Listed By The International Game Fish Association In Dania Florida, 2 Fish Are Tied For The Record . Both Are 4.5 Lbs
