I got to thinkin what we use to catch coons and possums and came up with peanut butter, catfood, and the best was definently Sardines:big_smile:

So does anybody have any thing to add to the list that we might try:cool2:

Vary their diet. Put out a couple days worth of house garbage in an open can out your back porch. Like the old saying goes- and they will come.

I used grape jelly to catch a 42lb rouge coon that was stealing my hens from my henhouse once, caught him the very first night.

Used dog food, tuna, and bout everything else under the sun but the best was a few pieces of uncooked shrimp.

my dad used teddy grahams and marshmellows for bear bait in canada so thats what i started using for coons and have done better than when i used natural baits like fish.
