Web page maps fishing holes, boat ramps

The Department of Natural Resources has launched a new interactive Indiana map displaying more than 800 fishing access sites across Indiana.

Anglers browsing for a fishing spot or launching ramp can zoom in, zoom out, turn on aerial photos to learn the lay of the land, or click on icons to get more information.

Access sites on the map are state properties, county parks, city parks and municipalities. Information regarding fees may be a daily-use fee, or a DNR Lake Permit. Boats on state park, reservoir or forestry properties need a DNR Lake Permit.

Thanks for the info Tim. Sounds like a useful tool, and something we get out of our tax dollars.

Thanks Tim. Some good stuff, too bad I didn't find any new spots near me.
