Indiana tag filled

    First turkey kill on film. It wasn't text book. I hit him on the first shot, but not good enough. I shoot things flying better anyway. We stayed put and was able to get another long beard in. The way the bird came in my buddy had to try and film and shoot, well when he pulled the trigger, a tree jumped in his way.

    Thanks guys. I'm going to see the footage this weekend. The camera man said he could tell the bird was hit in the head on the first shot.

    I like limb hanging pics too. Here is one of it in my yard.

    awesome!!! did that pattern hit the tree and the bird? or was it two separate incidents? pretty mean lookin pattern either way, and great looking bird!

    The tree got shot when the second bird came in. He got away clean and is still roosting in the same spot.
