    i saw that, fish - there were over 390 bids, and it was over 9 million dollars...it was the helmet that robby gordon took off and threw at michael waltrip sunday............ebay stated that you had to have permission and claerance to bid, so i assume all bidders were able to back up their bid...

    and oh yeah, robby was doing it to send the proceeds to katrina relief efforts

    i can't figure out why ebay suspended the auction - it must have been that someone rigged the bidding.....i had someone try to steal my ebay ID once, and ebay shut down my auction and suspended me til they figured it out :eek:

    Thanks Phil for letting me know. That is totally unreal, I just can't fathom that. At least his heart was in the right place. :)
