Got this email in my box today. Thought the BOC membership would like to see what we (and all the well regulated US fish farmers) are up against. These products are raised in poorly regulated farms in Asia. They are loaded with toxins and antibiotics. When you walk into a restaurant and order a bland, well respected fish from the menu, very often this is what you get. Like the advertisment says, "Whatever you want to call this fish".......

The issue of substitution, (selling garbage as cod, grouper, snapper, flounder etc.), is the single biggest problem the FL DEPT of AGRICULTURE has been working on this last year. It is happening in your states just as well. The best way to stop eating this garbage is to demand the restaurants you visit buy the real stuff.
