The import trebles are more hard, with less bend and have a tends to break easier.

Used imports before they bend very easy, rust, break, dull quickly. Stick with your thoughts.:cool2:

eagle claw is the way to go

i bought 50 to the #2 2X strong hooks and they are the best

i used the mustad trebles for snagging because of the verythin wire

the egale claw hooks have curved points and ive found out that they wont
snag a shad very well but the fish has a hard time throwing it off on the hookset

    go figure

I may be out of line with this thought, but in Oklahoma, the snagging hooks must be barbless. May pay to check your regulations.

people actually use the hooks that are 1.25 a piece and fish with it

theyll buy 12 of em and snag a shad then throw it out

runs up the bill after a while

glad i dont use em
