Great job, what was the bait,and all the particulars about the catch.
Bait, we generally always use bluegill or rock bass. Those rock bass live longer and are so tuff I like using them. For this fish we were using fillet size bluegill. We had our bank pole close to a deeper hole right where it started to drop off. The water was about 4 ft. deep and the line was set only about two foot deep. I would have to say most of our best luck has been close to where the channel just begins to drop off but all our lines are set about two foot deep in 4 ft water.

No we kept this baby, we caught it on a bank pole using a big bluegill as bait.
