if you had to pick just one species of catfish to pursue for the REST of your life.......which one would it be?....i know it would suck to narrow everything down like that but seriously.........i think i would be torn between blues and channels.........:sad_2a:

I'd have to say flatheads. I've hooked into bull head, channels, blues, and flathead. And I'd definately have to say, the best fightin' around here's Mr. flat.

It would be between blues and flats, they get enormous! I have caught enough channels, but I am few and far between with blues and flats.

I'd have to say Blues too. I just like the fact you can catch them year round.

I know I am wierd, but here goes:

Toss up between blues and bullheads.

Bullheads I can fish for without any expensive equipment. Everything I have can catch them, they are easy to catch, and they fight pretty good for the size.

Blues... I still want that BIG fish and they are very common around here. not to mention that I can catch them year round

Definately blues. Flatheads are the ultimate, but blues are year around action.
