Alright, yall made me do it. Picked up some of these Diichi Circle Chunk Lights that everyone talks about.

    " I love Circle Hooks"

"I catch more fish with Circle Hooks"

"Circle Hooks are the best hooks bar none"

I have heard all these quotes and read so much good things about em. I have had no luck with other brands of circle hooks so I'll try these.

    Wish me luck please.

Good luck Tea, I don't use circle hooks (very often). I was looking at some of the sickle hooks though. If they don't work you should be able to sell them pretty quick on here though, lol

Dont by all means use them at deer creek spillway:big_smile: Those little fidlers in there will never hook themselfes:big_smile: Really, if it's a decent cat it will load your rod and the circle will work.

I have used Circle Hooks and they are crap in my opinion, a marketing ploy. I use Kahle Hooks and haven't had a gut-hooked fish or anything like that. Why would the hook going in the corner of thier mouth be better for them? That's the softest part, the Circle hook just tears holes in it.

Even our guide on the James River last night used them and we didn't land but a few smaller fish, and we had at least 30 bites, litterally. And the one big one we did have was on mine and he rolled a couple times at the boat and the hook popped right out.

I will never use them again.

    Whoa there killer.....LMAO

I dont like em either, but have had no luck with many other hooks as well. Have never used this brand, little different with more gap I think.

I'll let yall know how they work.

They are all bad for Catfish in my opinion. If I go out again with that guide I will take my Kahle Hooks or I won't go at all!!

For you guys that dont like circle hook, all i can say is that in some situations, they work better for me than a standard hook. I dont use them all the time but when i do, i dont loose any fish. To each his own fellas.

Hooks! hooks!! & more hooks!!! If one don't work try a different style, that's why I have J's K's & C's in my box.

Tea the best way to learn how to use circle hooks is to get some small c. hooks use med gear and target eater size fish. Once you get into some good action you will learn how the hooks work, then move up to larger hooks & gear and go after the big boy's.
