Ice fishing for Channel Cats

    Any of you guys ever get a chance to do it? It really is my only option during the winter months up here.

    There are a few lakes/river systems that concentrate populations of Channel cats and you are able to target them through the ice. It is a lot of fun, and something a little different.


    I prefer the mid summer big flatties, but you take what you can get :smile2:

    Good lord, I'm not the only MN boy on this forum! Good to here from you. Yes I do ice fish 'em. Not a great year this year though. I guess FM isn't the only place you lurk! I'll see you down by the tresle again this year. I sure hope it's easier to get by!
