The price of reels on ebay has gone though the roof. I have 40 baitcaster that i bought off of ebay. before everybody got on there and the prices went up.might as well buy from a dealer or cc. the shipping price is crazy. that were they get you. Darryl

Congrats. How much is retail on one of those? At the big, cheap, retailer, 6000 ambasador is $40. 7000s are $60.

About $59.95 for rod and reel at Wal-Mart.

Vlparrish was proud as a peacock last night when he won his reel. I told him that before he bid to make sure of the S&H costs. Yep, the prices of S&H have sky-rocketed on E-bay. Congrats on the E-bay deal CJ21

I agree... $60 for a 7000 is somthing i'd be willing to pay... David Riggins got some for around that... maybe it was $70... idk and i got to spool them for him... and fish with them and those are more suited for catfishing then many other reels i've dealt with in the past...

Try your local pawn shops too. Alot of times they don't know what they are selling and you get it real cheap !!!
