i was driving today by the river and seen a farmer cutting wheat and when he stopped to get something out of his truck i got out of my truck and asked him about permission to fish behind his house and guess what he said sure
he told me to come by after harvest and he wold put it on paper
just thought id tell my story so maybe other people will do the same and ask for permision like i do
cant hurt the worste thing they can say is NO:wink:

thats the way to do it. you wouldnt believe the ammount of property we got permission to hunt by doin that and i started don it for fishin spots too. ive even offered to help em if they needed/wanted it on anything they hey need done. it works and shows good character and you will usually get the permission.

Its always nice to have private access. I have three around here. Like JJ said, it doesnt hurt to offer to help them with something. Also, if they like fish, offer to give them some CLEANED.
