Went out nitefisin' last night at my favorite spot in Missouri.Stayed about 3 hours and caught only 2 channels about hand size (throwbacks). You have to understand, this is a lake where everytime I go,leaving with 8+ eating size is not uncommon so tradition has it that right now there' in spawning mode.So with that in mind,I packed-up and told myself I'll come back here around July.I wake up this morning and VIOLA!.....I'm getting my gear togather to go back out there again tonight.Am I the only person on this board that fits this senerio?

Nope, nuthin' wrong with you......unless there's something wrong with me too lol. I said last week I was gonna hang it up until July, but here I go, preparing for an all-nighter tonite. I caught the fever, now I gotta catch the fish. Good luck!

You just have very serious case of OCF. Don't worry, it's not curable.

I am so acustomed to coming home with no fish that many times I don't even say I'm going fishing, I now just say I'm going out on the river.

Yes, you have the disease O.F.D. ( obsessive fishing disorder ) there is no cure. The only treatment is F.O. ( fishing often ) administered 3 to 7 times a week, this should relieve your symptoms.
