This is a direct copy and paste from a text message I received from the Ol man who is in Alabama with his wife fishing for Crappie. I cant make this stuff up. :smile2:

"Report from Weiss - kickd minner bucket over - back to town for minners (40 min drive) - left minner bucket hangn overboard while changn spots - minnner bucket gone - back to town - lid come open on minner bucket - no minners - back to town - went to put up top - brackets comes off and falls in lake - trippd on minner bucket - broken windshield - lotsa laffs now"

I can now see my ability to experience a "nutroll" was inherited so I am not at fault :smile2:

And, get this, He asked me about catching some "Monter Blues" and I asked about his equipment. He said he had 2 zebco crappie rigs. :smile2::smile2:

I said I'd give his rigs the same chance of managing a monster blue as I would an extra cheese pizza sitting in front of Oprah. :smile2::smile2::smile2:

Acorn dont fall far from the tree does it? :cool2:

Just got the report from him last night.

No crappie, they did catch a 15 pound Blue on that ultralight tackle though. They said it was quite the battle. :smile2: He said the lake it muddy from all the rain so crappie bite was bad.

Off to boat club shin dig today. Man its wayyyyyyyyy to early. Even for me. :cool2:
