Anything with a pelt, Jim. That's what a furharvester goes for. JJ's going
for the furry little beasties that are wearing their finest right now in the
wintertime. Now he has a peice of paper on the wall that says he knows
about the many laws governing running a trapline and such. I never got
taught all that stuff, but I wouldn't mind knowing someday.
i wont be doin it this year cuz i aint got what i need nor the money to get it right now. im gonna try to find someone around here that does it and go with them to learn. an apprenticeship so to say
Congrats. Wish ya nothin but the best. :cool2:

Congrats JJ, now you can still fish while waiting to run your traps. Stay safe and best of luck to you!!!
JJ, get a hold of me. Got couple dozen 220 conibears(cubby buckets), a few 330's, a bunch of 1.5's on cable drowning rigs, coon cuffs, lots of stretchers and a bunch of snares. I'm sure we could work something out to get you started with some decent equipment. I'll show you some of my favorite coon sets and give you a heads up on good place to ply your trade.
Congrats youngin'!!! You were born a year AFTER I graduated high school!
Hope you do well with the fur taking!

that'll make ya feel young huh !! :smile2:
once i get J Jr.'s b-day and x-mas out of the way i'll get out yer way. i really appreciate the offer Charlie.
LOL! The thing I like about youth is the physical strength it takes to get tasks done, such as trapping, coon hunting, cutting firewood and other strenuous activities. The thing I like about age is the wisdom accumulated through the years.

im only 36 and im rapidly turning to the wisdom side vs the physical !!
The older you get, the faster the wheel turns! :smile2:
