but I finally did it. After ten years of smoking, I quit cold-turkey yesterday. At work it wasn't so bad, but after making it home without buying any cigarettes, I now know I can do it. Twenty four hours at this point, working on day number two now!:cool2:

Good Luck Doug. It's so easy I have quit 20 or 30 times in my life. I might quit again someday since I know how to do it now.:smile2:

Live around somebody that is literally suffocating to death with emphazema and you'll find it rather easy to quit.
    Bad way to die.

Never been around someone with emphysema, but have been around smokers almost all of my life. I just knew that I wanted to quit, and I needed to get it done quick. Tomorrow's day seven!
