18 lbs = 8164.662 grams
1 cent = 2.5 grams so 8164.622 divided by 2.5 = 3265.88 pennies divided by100
= \$32.66

John I got this from another website but it looks like 1 penny is about 3.1 grams and there are 453.59237 grams to a pound making your solution to be about 8164.66266 grams divided by 3.1 = \$26.34 so if you round down about 26.00 bucks

So if we split the difference it's about 28 bucks.
After you send ryang and me our accounting fees you will have about \$3.75 to spend on a pot of nightcrawlers...W

You been saving them or Regina been saving them? Sounds like if Regina has them "stashed", she's trying to keep you out of 'em...:smile2:

John,
I know that you went to school in KY so I will simplify things for you;

1. Count out 10 pennies and stack them nice and neat. Then continue making stacks of ten till you are done stacking all the pennies.

2. Now take 10 stacks and stack them on each other, 10 stacks of 10 pennies will make 100 pennies per stack= to a dollar. Continue till you can't make any more stacks of 100 pennies.

3. Now count the stacks that have 100 pennies in them. This final number will be the amount of dollars you have.

4. Now put the left over pennies back in the jar cause, it could get difficult at this point, LOL!!!

PS. I couldn't help it, LMAO!!!

Hmmmm? Now that we have that solved, If you took 18 lbs of pennies and placed them in a stright line how far would they go? Or if you made a penny pile how high would it be?smokey
