Could not find any skips in my bait freezer, I have to dig deeper in the Freezer.

I need to get some myself. To hot here to even think about it. Good advice AJ! I get most of mine at the dams with cast net or sabiki rig. Also do well downstream of moored barges. Specially if they are tied up in an L formation, for some reason it seems to me that this attracts them.

Oh, Verlin, wasn't it you a while back that said that you freshen up your skips with menhaden oil? If so do you soak em over night or what? I have had good luck soaking chunked up gills and suckers etc. in the stuff for a few days in the fridge in zip locks. Works when other bait is hard to get.

Yea, they work great when the skippers are there. I think the rigs I use have 6 hooks on them and its not unusual to pull in 3-4 at a time.
