i love farm ponds, pics show why

    i took 2 days of from work to go fish some small arm ponds near my house i caght a lot of bass in the 1-3 pound range a couple small blue cats and THEN THE TURTLES ATTACKED:eek:oooh:

    great pic , that's a huge snapper !!!! i know you caught the fish ,and turtles in that pond , but i'm curious did ya catch that Burro in that pond as well :smile2::smile2::smile2: . just mess'n with ya

    it caught me i was just sitn there and he came up and nudged me. i was like :confused2:

    snapping turtles are a delicacy. Parboil the meat until tender and then fry like chicken. The neck is the best part.

    Thanks for the pics. I grew up fishing farm ponds. It's great. Hand sized blue gill, the occasional bass and catfish, and yes turtle. Love it!
