I hope your happy!!! This goes out to all you Wabash and White River fisherman that have had low water levels all summer and drug your boats over riffles, wasted props, tore up lower units, wrestled boats on and off trailers. I don't think its going to be a problem for the rest of the year if you still got a boat that runs.

I am not happy the one time of the year I can catch the crud out of the blues is the fall, but not if the Ohio is up and raging. This messes up everthing. Just came back from Wolf Creek Dam what a mess, Lake Cumberland ran out of cold water. Hatchery dumped all their trout into river. I even caught a large mouth bass below dam.Just too much rain.

I agree with you 100%. I would rather fish the Ohio on the drop than on the rise. If we get all the rain they are calling for the Ohio's gonna be bankfull.

Looking at the NOAA charts, the Ohio isnt looking too bad this weekend. Im gonna fish out of Tanners on Saturday morning. Hopefully they will be on!

this isnt enough rain to make the river do a big jump. you need lots of rain upriver to make the river rise in your pool. and theres not gonna be lots of rain. so no worries for a big jump

NOAA predicts an 8' rise in the Wabash up in this area by Saturday afternoon.

The lower White is supposed to raise 14-15 feet, completely out of the banks by next week. Unfortunately I have to take the boat out Saturday.

It kinda looks like they don't want to hold much water above markland. The level below the the dam is already up 10 feet.Maybe that broken lock has them worried?

thats a very good point. and i bet that is part of the reason why they are getting rid of the water so quickly up here reps to ya!
