While out talk and recruiting [ wareing my B.O.C. cap and Shirt] and passing out B.O.C. cards, I met a guy that told me they were catching buckety fulls of shad in Atkins at Lucky Landing. Knowing that shad is almost as good as skips for bait, filled my bait freezer.

Lucky Landing has a long pier that goes over the water and people on the pier was catching good size blue gill and some nice crappie on that pier. We also cought big gills and crappie in the cast net. We threw the gills and crappie back.
