Super boat, it will last you a long time. I have a g3 cc and I love it. I've had it about 4 years and it has been great. Good luck with you new boat and catfishing.

Hey man, I got a G3 too and love it. I bought it used. It's a 2000 PRO 175 with only 40hp and it moves pretty quick as it is. Even with an 18-19 footer I still couldn't see needing much more hp, but oh well, should be fun! Trimming's a cinch, just look at your trim gauage and start dropping the trim until it stops bouncing on you, and remember that spot on your gauge. Of course how you distribute your weight, water conditions, and velocity all play in too. Enjoy!

Looks like a really nice boat...Can anyone tell me how that paint holds up on those boats in the water...does the water stain the paint...Only asking cause seems to have a discolor on my aluminum V bottom...is there any tips a guy could give on this...
