They didn't make them very long. They had alot of problems with them from what I heard. There's a company that makes an upgrade kit that you can send your reel in to make it work right, but it's expensive. I've never seen any anti-backlash system needed more than the spool adjustment on the sides of the endplate and my thumb.
Congrats on the new reel! sorry, cant review it, ive never used one. closest ive had is a 5500st, and it was great. hopefully yer new reel has a bait clicker on it; i wont buy a reel that doesnt have one.
