I went out with Mert last night to Bartlett we found alot of good bait and headed up for the river got to a spot and set the lines out from the time the last line hit the later till the first fish was 10min. I was sitting down with poles infront of me and behind me and Mer just started yelling "get that pole get that S.O.B." I grabbed it and set the hook and got her in.
We stayed there for a while and went more up river from the time to the last pole was out til the next fish was only 6 min. Mert told me to get up and just hold this pole so I did and it took off running and the fight was on got it in she was a 7lber! All day I was not feeling right...and as the night went on I was getting worse and worse.....Around midnight I had to call it off and head in I was feeling horrible so we loaded up....im am sooo sorry Mert and like I said ill make ti up to you! Got home grabbed the kid and wife and headed to Urgent Care they did some test and my white blood cell count was low low low and so was my iron level....I have to do some more test.... But back to fishing mert didnt like my comments about catfish tasting bad so he gave me a recipe to try and I took home the fish and tommorow Im going to try the recipe....Thank you Mert and I will find a way to make it up to you!
NOW THE REAL QUESTION IS HOW BIG IS MY NEW P.B??? EVERYONE GUESS WHAT THEY THINK!

i have ben a member since a year. i sure wood like to go out an catch me some nice flatheads like that! i only cot maybe 10 or 15 flatheads, but they all ben from tempe town lake. my biggest is like 8 pounds. i think your picture of your fish is like 30 pounds. I dont no thogh. just a gues. can anyone take me to a lake. i can buy food.beer.gas an whatnot.

Yeah it was awesome Mert put me on some fish! He told me to get my butt up and grab HIS pole! He is an awesome guy! Not looking good have to go to my primary doctor tommorow urgent care was usless other then taking my blood test... I have been throwing up all day and haven't got out of bed...now I have to go to work...ugh cant find anyone to cover... at about 3pm today was the last time I threw up blood so hopefully im getting better and can find out why I am throwing blood up for.....I have thrown up alot but not with blood in it! will post soon
