I decide on the Abu 6500C3!

    I really thank you guys for your imput I decide on the Abu 6500C3 and I order it today from Amazon.com for $77.95 and no shipping charge.

    Your reel choice is excellent. Of my four primary catfish rods, 2 have 6500C3s and 2 have Guides Series 66HS.

    CJ, I have several 6500 c3's and I use them for my drifting reels. I havent had any problems with them! I normally drift with 3-5 oz of weight in moderate current. I did go to bigger reels for my heavy weight, bad current anchor fishing reels. It just seemed like I was over-loading the 6500's when I had to use 12-20oz of weight! You will enjoy your 6500!:wink:
