Not really, but I did save a bundle on my car insurance!!!!!!!
    ****GEICO******** lol

Really, I just wanted to ask a favor and needed to get your attention.

Can any of you guys that are good with searches try to get as much info on Indianas Record flathead as possible? All I've EVER been able to find is the guys name, the year, the river and the county. I'd love to know more, like how it was documented, are there pics? news articles? etc.

Thanks for your help.... and sorry for trickin' ya

Bill you really have way with words. I got all excited when i seen the title and then seen it was you. I was wondering why Shane or Tony hadn't called me yet. As far as the search i have hit a wall of repeating info. Sorry no help.

looked high and low since that recored is from 1966 your best chance getting any type of documentation is calling the dnr or mailing them

Thats Mike I appreciate it... I think that stuff should be on the IDNR site at least. I don't know anyone who knows more than the basic info on this record.... if thats all there is it needs to be throw out. I'm leary of such an old record like that.

Good luck I searched for a little bit and came up dry . It really dont say alot about it all and being that old it was probably 2 old farts guessing the weight and desiding it . Didnt say the bait or the method .

i tried searching the DNR and the In.gov search engines, searching Glen's name but couldnt get a response from the server so you might want to try that.

One way to find out would be to search the Bedford paper from 1966, I would think they would have ran an article on it. I would bet Bayou Bill Scrifres would have had something on it in the Indianapolis Star, you could ask them or do an online search.

Bill, maybe you should come down sometime and fish the White River down here. I know a few spots that I believe we could find a big ole flattie laying in.
