I am going to the Scioto River with hopes that it will be up high and running hard. Hopefully with the rain that we received in the last couple of days this will be the case. My bait will be cut shad, goldfish, and shiners. The water is too muddy and creeks are a little swift around here to get chubs. I will post a report tomarrow detailing my catch.

I fished the Scioto River near Jackson area where it crosses 32. I actually only fished for a very short period of time because the water was not up high at all. The spot that I go to is terrible unless the water is pretty high. Maybe this will change in the next couple of weeks and I can get into some 50 plus flats, but for now I guess I will fish my pond.

I am heading out around 3 and I will stay until at least dark maybe longer. The water is up a little here. Hopefully I will get into a few.
