This past weekend my wife and I placed 11th in total weight and 6th in big fish category during the National catfish tournament at Santee-Cooper. It was a great experience and I am so proud of my wife because she hauled in the big fish! I wanted to thank many members of the BOC for their advice on keeping fish alive and general tournament advice. We only fished the one night and in total we caught 270 pounds of catfish. We did struggle to get more fish in upper 20-30 lb range and our 5 fish weight was 123 pounds. The big fish was 45 lbs 8 oz. All fish were released in great condition and needless to say, we had a wonderful time! Check out the picture.
