Anyone else fish during the hurricane? My buddy and i put the boat in a parked it in a cove that gave good shelter from the wind (on a friend of mines leaseback).
Got a good fire going, set up the tent to with-stand 40 MPH wind and waited.
As soon as the wind let up a little (Sat 9pm CST), we put on some good rain gear / life jackets, and went fishing.

1st Nights catch JPEG That pic is from the first 2 - 3 hours out. We ended up almost doubling that before the night was over. Next day was almost just as good.

I hate the damage that hurricanes do, but Ike sure did bring some good fishing
