Hey there I'm doin fine, heard some big trees fall around, it was pretty scary for a while! Winds are slowly slowing, as in gusts not in the 80s like they were, but still strong. Gonna have some work to do, but we've definately had worse. A few trees down around the house. We were pretty scared there's a huge red-oak in the front that was threatening us for a while. Lafayette, at least where I am, didn't get hit as hard as it did in the past. I'm also writing this from inside. Haven't had a chance to go around yet, and as you can see luckily we still have power, although much of the city doesn't, and Baton Rouge is mostly knocked out. They took it harder than expected I think.

Thank God it was a day hurricane. Nighttime is the worst, and scariest.
