I have a 2002 DF115 Suzuki that is hung in forward. Once i finily got it home I removed the motor covering and disconected the linkage for the shifter cable. It will not come out of gear . Any ideas? Thanks.

It may have just jumped out of adjustment in the lower unit but either way the lower is going to have to be dropped

Usually is nice to have someone around with a trusted opinion. Even if you aren't working on it yourself, it helps so you dont get screwed over (you know, the BS answers like you get from a car dealership).
