Has anyone tried this high priced sonar unit yet?
It seemed really cool at the demonstration at bass pro a few weeks back.

That looks really cool but how long did it take you to learn to read?

    Read ??? What the unit?
OOOHHH around 30 minutes. AS I read over the manual a few times on line. While waiting on the unit.
And if you can read the manual you can run this unit. Just takes time on the water learning what it can do.
AS for Uncle Buck. He knows me well. I like to look at the pictures don't have to read that way.

I've been looking into purchasing one, I still still use my Humminbird 3D Vision, I'm thinking about buying the Humminbird 797c2SI Combo it's a step down from the 997c SI Combo.

To compare this unit to my 3D Vision, the bottom structure is easy to read, plus you have the GPS and and map guide, they call it Navionics and it's in color and hundreds of options. I called Humminbird about my 3D Vision they told me if my unit ever break the can't repair it, I will use my 3D Vision on the front bow on trolling motor.
