i was wanting to know if any one has ever used one and are they easy to use and effective.The reasone I'm asking is I recently came into one it's a 2003 model I don't have no money in it and it works I figure it got to be better than what I'm using which is a eagle cuda 350 it does good but I want something that gives more detail so let me know if it worth swapping them out

Know this is a few weeks or so old. But I had a pair of them worked for me I could find fish on them. And that was what I was looking to do with the units. For what they are there ok..
Not the 987c-SI I upgraded to but I could find fish with them 400TX and even keep up with my bait .
