Has anyone seen these in action or used one? I am very interested in this one, if it lives up to the promotions.

Last year I was looking for a second sonar to run with my lowrance x125 and tried several HB models. First was the matrix 47. Took it back after using it a few times. Was interested in the 3-D map drawing aspect but found map it draws to be too crude. It averages just too few of points to derive a 3D image- similar to having a "low pixel" screen.
The idea is good but the map needs far more detail to be of value to me.

I then went with a lower cost HB with same-better specs at lower cost.

Few things I like about HB's are the "view" button to get an instant zoom of bottom and full view at same time and the mounting system as it is quick to plug in/off each time out. Wish the thing could remember settings for backlight and not have to re-set after every on/off cycle.

I am not a big fan of HB's, but the freq. diff. works well when running two units with lowrance's.
