This Elk was killed with a bow in the Selway-Bitterroot
Wilderness. He green scored 575" and should net out at about 530"
non typical. He has and unbelievable outside spread of 79".
This is the biggest bull ever taken with any weapon.

What I wouldnt give! Id buy a new house to mount this beauty!!

Keep that archer away from the BOC big buck contest; if his luck holds true with deer none of us have a chance!

Thats a BIG bull! I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the next record elk came from right here in PA. We are gettin some huge elk! I think it's because of the restrictions on hunting that they get so huge. They raffle off hunting license's for them.

The Boone & Crocket website says its a hoax.
Game farm bull from Canada. Genetically engineered sort of thing.
    Sorry.
Amazing to see, though, isn't it?

That sure is a big bull I would be proud to take one half that size.
The wildlife people have restocked Elk in the North Carolina Smokey Mountain several years back. They were all over hunted in the early 1900 they are making a good come back hope to be able to hunt them some day.
