Ok what happen ?Donald ?
does it burn when u pee ?:angry:Buy the look on his face I would sAy it's on fire right a out now
I probably know what it wrong with your reel, it probably is not the reel. If you are using braid, what happens is, the knot is not tied onto the spool tightly, and is loose, so the spool just spins when you reel it in, and the handle spins, but no line comes in, and also you can pull line off the reel with the reel fully engaged. Call me up, I will show you how to check to see if that is the problem. 602 315 4189dont know whats wrong with it? had the drag tighten all the way down, im mean all the way down and still was able to pull line out and it wouldnt reel in for.. dont know really whats wrong with it cuz the first one i had did the same exact thing and i was sent a new one, and now the second one is doing it???? so yeah i was a little pissed cuz i drove 3 hours thinking i would fish with 2 poles but NO, only had one, luckly shortpole had extra pole for me to use.. thanks again Jim and Chad for the good trip
That is my only guess. I don't know what else it could possibly be, with the reel engaged but still being able to pull off line. Hell, I don't know, I talked to him on phone, he is going to check it today.Don't think that was the problem but i was practiceing for a  tourney ( I'd be embarassed if it was that simple and Chad and I didn't catch it)
well i got home and i took off all the line to where the knot was and sure asI probably know what it wrong with your reel, it probably is not the reel. Glad it worked out for you!well i got home and i took off all the line to where the knot was and sure asthe knot wasnt tight to the reel so i cut it off and put some duct tape around the spool and tied a knot made a couple of wraps and tied another knot...after respooling it i tied the end to my rod iron fence and gave it a test, everything worked perfectly!!! i tightened the drag all the way and no line even budged when i tried to reel in, thanks rob for the info, now i know about aluminum spools on baitcasting reels, thanks again!!
Dave what is signiture about ? lolwaiting to hear.
Thats how I load braid also. A few wraps of mono, tie your braid to the mono and finish loading the reel with the braid. You know how to fix that, you put about thirty yards of mono under your braid and it wont spin anymore. Thats what they did for me when i got mine spooled and works like a charm!!!
