We were just sitting here watching this TV show called "Hows it made" and they were making Gummy worms and said alot of fisherman use them for catfish bait. Has anyone ever tried this for catfishing.
I personally have not thought:confused: about trying them.
Lets hear from the brothers about this.

    Thanks
    AL ;)

Never herd of that Lawman, but my uncle told me that some guys use the candy"orange circus peanuts". I caught a small flathead using a night crawler dipped in Karo once, just messing around. I think some cats like sweet stuff.

Haven't heard of the gummy worm one until now. I have heard of using licorice sticks. They have lots of anise in them so I guess it's the flavor more so than the appearance.

My grandfather used to use bubble gum and some nice catfish in Lake Charles, Lousiana.

LOL, yeah I used it before as well playing around and got a few channels on it. We were on an wide open channel bite though and were on a school so I attribute it to that. I feel better getting that out in the open as well. LOL

Never tried them. Wouldn't do me any good to take them fishing with me. I would just end up eating them. lol
