Welcome to the BOC,
I haven't went in some time.
the last report I got said the bite is picking up on the Altamaha.
Wecome aboard David. Fishing is (excellent) since the rains...Catching in mid to shallow by the boat load...:0a23:
Not setting the world on fire but holding my own up on the TN River:wink:, several 10-20 LBers
bite was getting good for me untill all the rain. Last night you couldnt make a cat bite on lanier. I took out a new guy and didnt catch a thing man that sucks.
They would'nt bite last night on West Point either.
Welcome to the BOC. Fishin' has been good all summer until recently for me. My Dad, brother, and I all went to the Coosa for a while last night and only got 3 cats in about 7 hrs, and I caught none of 'em. :sad2::angry:.
welcome to BOC man. fishin been alright down here
Thanks, it takes me a while to get back online. I'll keep anything ya'll can tell me useful for catching fish. Has anyone noticed if you wash your hands in the mud of the waters you fish before you fish, you have better luck?
Also, I haven't had any luck since the rain (even tho that sounds odd) tho the reservoir is back up to full pool
I actually "wash" my hands in river or lake dirt, mud, or gravel before I fish a lot of times. I just want to make sure I don't have an unnatural scent on my hands when I bait my hook. From what I've experienced and read, a lot of people here have had trouble gettin' fish to bite lately.
Welcome to the BOC........ you will have a blast here...... Great info and people..... i mean BROTHERS....... and I mean that......
Thanks again for the warm welcomes. I feel a bond here. As for the washing, I mean more than just washing away unnatural scents, but also adding the scent of the lake to your hands more as natural. And I'm noticing a few folks having some troubles lately.
