To stop braid from fraying try dabbing a little Crazy Glue on the tag end of your line,or a dab of clear finger nail polish. I carry both of these in my tackle box and both will stop the braid from fraying. Ive used both of these methods for years and havent had any problems with fraying since i started.

Thats a good tip! I have been known to do that to my uni knot or albright used to join mono and braid togather! It keeps a nice smooth edge going through your guides!
