Lately been using the clip-on style glow lights, but getting tired of paying almost $3.00 for two lights. So I had some down time today and decided to clean the truck out and found acouple of old clip on glow lights from a previous trip, this is what I came up with:

This is a pic of two different lights: omniglow(left), Ultraglow(right)
    and razorknive:

Take the razorknive and cut off a portion of the glowstick like so:

Then take a garden hose and flush out the chemicals and glass particals into a old veggie can or what ever you decide to use. Mount the glow light back on the rod:

And slip in a WildWolf glow light using the omni light there was alittle play, but with the ultraglow the glowstick fit nice and snugg-perfect for those hookset so it don't go flying:

Great idea, but wouldn't it just be easier to mount one of the connectors that come with the AKWolf glowsticks?

That's a swell idea! I think this holds better than the clips that come with the wolf. I just bought one of those blacklight headlamps from the QuickStore. I am hoping that with a little flouresent paint I will never need another glowstick again!!

ive been using the glow sticks from gene for a while now and i just use tape on both ends to keep the line from wraping round one end or the other.take off is easy just run a knife between the rod and the glow stick and you are ready to go again.one 1.00 roll of tape last for months.
