I have been fighting a algae, and mold problem that has been growing in my carpet for months. I had my boat Steam Cleaned by pro’s 2 months ago. That worked for 5 days and all it did was piss the algae off. It came back 10 fold. I have tried all types of cleaners. Last night in the chat room Coach told me to try vinegar. I pressure washed my boat from end to end. Then I took 16 ozs vinegar and 10 ozs of Dawn Dish Det. I applied soaking the carpet good and then use a chemical stiff bristle bush and scrubbed the carpet and then let it soak for 2 hours. I rinsed off the deck with water. The carpet is sparkling clean again. How long it last I will let you know.
