ive had the same ugly stick and another pole with the same line since i bought them and sometimes have little loops in the reel(hope that makes sense) and think its just tiem to replace them(its been yrs) ive only had my line changed once and a bait shop did it with a machine, is that normal or do most of you do it yourself? im guessing cableas may do it for me , anyone know?thx

i change my lines at least once a year sometimes more,if i fish a concrete lined bank like the California aquaduct i will change it more often due to the line rubbing on the abrasive sides. It is easy to change the line yourself most lines (triene) will have instructions in the box on how to spool your reel
