While fishing at Prairie Lake yesterday eve with some friends from Beardstown (Shawn (Mongesf) & Amy) they got a surprize. They both caught the same fish. He was not snagged by one or the other but had taken both of their baits. They were fishing approx. 10 feet apart. How often does something like this happen, and yes we were using Hoss's Hawg Bait & Looper Rigs.

Yeah that was pretty incredible. Amy keeps telling me I need to start catching my own fish from now on. I'm not going to live this one down for quite some time. Sure does look like a mouthful huh? Thanks for posting Jim. We really have a good time fishing and visiting with you and Janet.

Oh ya. The next time we get together to go fishing we will move you farther down the bank. We don't want to take any chances. Yours, mine, or ours could cause a conflict:cool2:

Both rigs came out and they continued fishing and caught more. But not together.

That's really neat! I have heard that catfish grab the bait and swim away, often holding it a while before chomping down. This would make sense; he probably didn't get the point the first time, if you know what I mean!
